Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use this site: on a phone or a computer, with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
- Text and buttons are checked for contrast against what’s behind them.
- Every form field has a label, and problems are written out in words next to the field.
- The site follows your device settings: reduced motion, high-contrast mode and text zoom.
- The A, A+ and A++ buttons at the top of each page make all the text bigger. Your browser remembers your choice on this device; it isn’t sent to us.
- Nothing has a time limit, and there are no countdown timers.
- The soil check moves one question at a time, “Not sure” is always an answer, you can go back to change one, and your result is read out with your score and soil level.
- Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu words are marked, so screen readers can say them in the right language.
What isn’t perfect yet
- The site is in English. We’re happy to talk in Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu by phone.
- We don’t have photos up yet. When we add them, each one will have a written description.
- If our form shows a “verify you are human” check, that box comes from Cloudflare, not from us. If it gives you any trouble, email or call us instead.
- Automated checks only catch some problems. If something doesn’t work for you, we want to know.
How we check
Before each update we run automated accessibility checks (axe-core, against WCAG 2.2 AA) on every page, at phone and computer sizes, plus a colour-contrast scan and keyboard tests. The last full check was on 31 October 2026.
Tell us about a problem
Email info@kirsaani.com or call 587 287 6452. Tell us which page, and what happened. We reply the same day, and we’ll get you what you need another way (by phone, by email, or in large print) while we fix it.
